Load up your camping equipment and head to the middle Keys. Near Marathon, Curry Hammock State Park is the largest uninhabited parcel of land between Key Largo and Big Pine Key. Camping here will introduce you to varied Florida Keys eco-systems such as mangrove swamp, rockland hammocks, and seagrass beds and offers excellent board sporting opportunities.
There are 28 campsites open all year round, each equipped with a picnic table, charcoal grill, water, and 20/30/50-amp electrical service. This destination is ideal for kayaking, paddleboards, wind surfing, and kite boarding. The pristine coastline is equally great for building sand castles, fishing, bird watching, or just taking a nap.
